Fishing at Bargoed Farm

We try our best to ensure our fish are kept healthy and the lake clean. Please continue reading to see our rules for the lake.

One rod per person
Please dip your nets in the disinfectant tubs provided on site
Barbless- Lead Free Tackle only
Any angler fishing this fishery are expected to produce current rod license and day permit
Fish friendly bait only i.e sweetcorn or artificial lures
Unhooking mats are to be used at all times
Strictly NO night fishing
No children under the age of 12, children over 12 to accompanied by an adult
Litter to be put in the bins provided
Cigarettes to be disposed of correctly
No keep nets - we operate a catch and release policy.
Please enjoy and don't abuse the site of facilities provided
